Narnia

Disney has gotten the rights to make a movie of “The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe”. It’s going to be directed by the man who did Shrek and Shrek 2. It should be interesting, but I’m nervious about it. The Narnia books are not going to be easy to translate to film well.

I bet they can do it. A while ago…I think it was the BBC, made movies of the entire “Chronicles of Narnia” series. As I recall, they did a fairly decent job.

Provided that Disney goes about it properly…with their larger budget, etc…I bet it could turn out really well.

    We shall see!

Yeah, I’m nervous a bit, because well, like Joe says, Shrek is really dated. IF you take out that aspect of the films though, they’re really good. I mean, I like Shrek anyway, but yeah. I really hope they do a great job! Have the books been made into movies once, or twice? I seem to remember something recent looking in the kids section at Blockbuster a while back.
