Movies Scare Me Sometimes

Ok, so I understand that when you are famous and rich you can do pretty much whatever you want, but seriously, is there any way to stop Marilyn Manson from making an “arthouse horror” movie about Lewis Carroll? Is there any way to stop him from playing the title character himself? Please tell me there is! I can’t even explain how much the very concept of “Phantasmagoria - The Visions Of Lewis Carroll” horrifies me. Maybe that’s what it is intended to do, but still…

Heh. Part of me really wants to see it. Drunk. And making an ass of myself in the theater laughing and hooting as the little goth kids stare in terror at the woman mocking their dark lord.
In short, I hope (in a sick way), that this does become reality.

Ok, first off, be nice. We aren’t moronic because we don’t think very highly of the movie. My opinions of the movie have nothing to do with Manson or the gothiness of it. Actually, that doesn’t bother me a bit. What bothers me is that everything about it seems pretty contrary to what we actually know about Lewis Carroll (Charles Dodgson) and his life. I’m a little bothered by the concept, not the artist creating it.
Don’t be so quick to judge people you don’t know, by the way. They might not be quite what you think. I’m a lot gothier than you might think. I’ve just gotten past the point where vinyl is appropriate for everyday wear (bosses tend to look down on it), but that doesn’t mean I don’t wear it and I can certainly appreciate Marilyn Manson (although I’m a much bigger fan of his wife). Be careful before you yell about being judged, and being able to laugh at yourself is a good thing too!
