At darkhorizens.com it was reported that J. Michael Straczynski (the creater of Babylon 5) has proposed an idea for a Star Trek show to Paramount! I hope that they take him up on it!
On Saturday evening Michael threw me my first ever surprise party! I was totally surprised and I had a blast! Most of my friends were there and it was really fun. We spent the evening watching a movie, talking and laughing. It was a great party and I really loved it. Thank you Michael and everyone!
At the end of the summer we are starting up Michael's Forgotten Realms Dungeons and Dragons campaign again. Michael has decided that my bard/wizard's familiar is too pathetic and I should get a new one (she's a rat, by the way, so pathetic is sort of a given). So he's said that I can have a dog! Yay! I'm excited! I get a puppy in the game! I like puppies. Michael says that even though it's automatically a fully trained puppy, if I want to put a hat on it and have it dance I'm going to have to make some kind of roll. I'm a bard! I think that part of my dog's training could very well have been trained as a performing dog. Anyway, I doubt I'll ever actually decide to have the dog perform, but I am very happy that I get a dog (at least they *seem* less pathetic).
I was at Alan's last night and a really cool website was brought to my attention, so I thought I'd post a link to it here so other people could see it. It's the website of a guy who does really elaborate origami. The coolest thing though, is that he has a set of D&D monsters! The gallery is very cool and I highly recommend looking at it!
