Mark of the Yuan-Ti: Third Post (Inevitables)
Ok, so now all three of our heroes are sleepy and confused. There is clearly something odd going on with the snakes and almost no one in town seems awake. I’m not certain if the Inevitable is trying to help them or hurt them, but the boys seem fairly certain that it’s trying to kill them. Basically, nothing really makes any sense at the moment.
I remember Roberts’ other book in the series being confusing all the way through but having a brilliant ending. I’m really hoping this book will do that too, but I am kind of frustrated with the book right now and so I’m not sure that any amount of brilliance in the ending will really be enough to save the book.
