Ok, so the Inevitable is indeed on their side, but they don’t know it yet. They actually don’t seem to know much. I don’t like it when the main characters act so dumb! It doesn’t make sense! And why does anyone still live in Curston, given how often everyone nearly dies? I don’t require heroes to be always smart and heroic, but I do wish that they could be slightly less dumb! Some of the books in this series have found the happy medium there, but this isn’t one of them! It’s so frustrating!
