There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Fly: Thoughts
This is a fabulous picture book. It has the most intriguing pictures! I love the details like the newspaper headlines and the animal commentary on the whole situation. The pages with labeled varieties of flies and breeds of dogs are my favorites. There is just so much going on in this book, every time I read it I see something new. I love Taback’s picture books a lot. He uses things like keyholes and newspaper cuttings in whole new ways!
