This I Believe: Fifth Post (Giving)
Isabel Allende’s essay about giving was beautiful. I didn’t know that she had a daughter who died in a coma. Her life is fascinating. Maybe I should pick up her memoir. She says that she should share stories, money, love, attention, everything, because what is possibly gained by not sharing them? The more she gives away, the more she gets back. It was a wonderful essay.
