Amelia Bedelia and the Surprise Shower: Thoughts
This is a fun book! Amelia Bedelia books always are, so that isn’t a revelation. The story is funny and I loved Amelia Bedelia being the instructor for some of the tasks (when was Alcolu introduced as a character anyway)? I loved the fish, it was cute (icing them). The illustrations are nice, but I like the original illustrator, Fritz Siebel, better. Anyway, this is a cute book. It’s also a great beginning reader, marvelously written for the level. I definitely recommend it for. It might make a cute wedding for baby shower gift, too, actually.
