The Berenstain Bears Down on the Farm: Thoughts
This is a cute book. It’s a good, positive introduction for city kids to what a farm looks like and what might happen there. It’s not very detailed, but there is plenty there for kids to figure out what’s going on and why. It has the wonderful pictures all Berenstain Bear books have and the writing is pretty simple. There isn’t much story, but I’m not sure there really needs to be. These bears have so many stories, a book where they just see stuff is kind of nice for a change!
