Miss Nelson is Back: Thoughts
I really like this book. It follows Miss Nelson is Missing! nicely and is, thankfully, a completely different story. There is a different set of kids, they believe the story about “The Swamp” and we don’t have to hear about her intimidating the class, it’s assumed and no page space is wasted describing it. The pictures are great and I love how mind-numbingly boring the principal is (slides of goldfish!). It’s a fun, well done picture book.
