Tiffany’s Table Manners for Teenagers: Sixth Post (Salads)
I’ve always found salads difficult to eat with a knife, they just never seem to cut well. I found the trained seal comment funny, but also wondered why one is supposed to eat asperagus with the fingers anyway, since I always found it easier to manage with a knife and fork. Why have a rule where you are supposed to use your hands when silverware makes the job easier? That just seems silly!
