The High King: First Post (First Impressions)
This book starts very suddenly with little build up at all. There is so much story that we don’t have time to ease into it, and with this book that works really well. Taran has clearly grown up, although he’s clearly Taran and still says stupid things without thinking from time to time. Eilonwy is a young lady, but misses the days when she got to be one of the boys. The writing is just so good and you are drawn right into the story! it’s wonderful!
