Cricket 34/9: Thoughts
I really enjoyed this issue of Cricket. Most of the issue was about dragons and there were some great pieces in it. I loved the dragon poetry! I also found a piece about the bacteria in Komodo Dragon spit to be surprisingly interesting. The story about the doctor girl and dragon was really cute, as was the story “Dragon Treat”, but my favorite of the dragon stories was probably “How to Feed a Hungry Dragon”. “Long Meg” is still amusing, but the first part was better than the second. “Forget Me Not” was very sweet and sad, much darker than I expected, but definitely a good read. The artist and self-portrait pieces were good too. Overall, this was a very good, very solid issue. I was quite pleased with it!
