Babymouse: Rock Star: First Post (First Impressions)
I love Babymouse! She’s back to school in this volume and this year she’s in band. There have been enough books now that Babymouse can be self-referential (”haven’t you read the other books?”, she asks the narrator at one point early on). Her locker is still slightly troublesome, Felicia is still a bully and otherwise life seems to have continued as normal, but Babymouse has a new passion - music! Too bad she can’t actually play her flute!
