Norse Myths and Classical Myths: Twenty-Fourth Post (Changes)
Again, Hawthorne changed part of the end of the story. Very strange indeed. It feels like he’s elaborated a great deal and added all manner of details and descriptions that weren’t there before (were there always cranes?). Some of it works and some of it is just fluff and rather dull. I like the fun details, though.
