Norse Myths and Classical Myths: Twenty-Fifth Post (Sex and Violence)
These versions of the myths are weirdly wiped of any romance, sex or even marriage, but Hawthorne seems to have found absolutely no objections to violence and these stories are, if anything, considerably more graphically violent than I remember the myths being (thanks to Hawthorne’s need to add details to everything). This all makes for some extremely strange myths, though!
