Remember how I complained that Hawthorne left the most interesting part of Cupid and Psyche’s story, Psyche’s tasks for Venus, out? Well, he did tell that part, he just made it a separate story for no very clear reason. It was very confusing. I also don’t remember Psyche trying to kill herself quite so many times. Oh well.
