Town Boy: Third Post (Oddnesses)
There is so little happening that we could easily skip four years with no explanation or anything. There wasn’t even a break in the action, it just happened! The art class scene was funny, but other than further reinforcing that we’re dealing with teenage boys, I’m not sure what the point was. He is taking pains to set the story in historical context, but I can’t quite figure out why since none of the world events really seem to be affecting him at all. It’s all very odd.
