Prying Eyes: Seventh Post (Selling Data)
Data is collected about us everywhere and the internet only makes it easier. I object less to the actual collection of the data than I do to the companies who collect it sellng it. Why should they do that? I get that it makes money for them, but what benefit does it confer to the people the data pertains to? None, is the answer the vast majority of the time. So why is it allowed? It just bugs me!
