Dreaming Anastasia: First Post (First Impressions)
This book is trying very hard to develop a creepy atmosphere, but I’m not sure how well it’s working yet. There’s a lot of Russian stuff so far – ballet, Baba Yaga, nesting dolls, etc. It almost feels like too much. But the flow of the writing is pretty good so far, so I think this book will be enjoyable to read (provided it’s not too choppy-feeling because of the over-short chapters).
