The retelling of “Cinderella” turned the ball into a football game with cheerleading try-outs before it! Cinderkitty first impressed the prince-quarterback as a masked cheerleader and then helped win the game as a receiver, even though girls aren’t supposed to play! And he found her again with her tennis shoe!
The retelling of “The Pied Piper” was cute too. It replaced the rats of the original story with flees, but the piper still musically saved the town. I found the ending especially interesting. The children weren’t kidnapped, but rather rewarded for being the only ones with a sense of fair play. It was an extremely fitting ending and worked surprisingly well.
