Hello Kitty’s Furry Tale Theater: “K.T. – The Kitty Terrestrial/Peter Penguin” (1987): Thoughts
I wasn’t that impressed with the retelling of E.T. The story was almost unrecognizable. I’m glad that they kept the scientists who wanted to study the alien and the goal of “phoning home”, however they didn’t keep much else!
The retelling of Peter Pan was better. Peter and the kids had to rescue Dinglebell the fairy from Captain Claw the pirate who had a mechanical tale to replace the one eaten by the crocodile. They even kept the concept of the fairy dying and needing children to believe her back to life!
