Hello Kitty’s Furry Tale Theater: “Cat Wars/Tar-Sam of the Jungle” (1987): Thoughts
The retelling of Star Wars was actually pretty cute. The little reimagined versions of the characters were adorable (I loved the droids!). “The Fur” (the force) was used well too and overall the story was recognizable and adorably retold.
The retelling of Tarzan was cute, too. It didn’t work quite as well as the Star Wars retelling, but it was still fun and recognizable. They kept the core of the story the same and it actually worked reasonably well. I enjoyed this episode a lot!
