This is a very cute Biscuit board book. Nothing especially happens, but Biscuit and the girl have fun in the snow, showing some of the things you can do on a snowy day! As always, the illustrations are adorable and I loved Biscuit’s red sweater. This is just a cute, sweet book. Perfect for a snowy day!

This is a really fun alphabet book! I love how the animals interact with each other and with the letters on the page! The phrases are so silly but so cute and fun. This is definitely a fun alphabet book and would be way better to share than many of the other board book ones.

This is a cute little board book with three stories in it. I generally liked it, but there were a few oddnesses to the stories. For example, the wolf in “The Three Little Pigs” goes to climb down the chimney but sees there is a fire burning below and goes away instead, leaving the pigs to live happily ever after. Weird, huh? Anyway, the illustrations are adorable and I generally enjoyed it!

This is a fun, silly book. I like that the illustrations link the opposites to the same scene or theme, that works really nicely. I also like that the book doesn’t restrict itself just to opposites, it wanders and just has fun scenes and great sounding text. This is a fun book to read out loud. It would be a great book to use with babies and toddlers - it’s fun to read and just plain sounds good!

This is a really fun book! I’d love to see a group of kids, all dressed up or in cute masks, dancing around to the song in this book! The illustrations in this book are darling, too. The whole thing is just pure fun. The rhythm is very classic dance rhythm and you want to chant or sing the words as you read them. I think this would make a great playtime game or even a skit for an elementary school play! Obviously, I really enjoyed this book!

It would be Daddy who uses tools and builds something, wouldn’t it? Again, this was a super basic, kind of boring Karen Katz book. I’m really not wild about the art. It feels so patronizing! I’m just not very impressed by it and maybe even a little insulted by it.

This is a hide-and-seek lift-the-flap book. It’s cute, but not very interesting. The things “Baby” discovers under the flaps are basic household objects (although Katz seems to have a thing for cats, which I suppose shouldn’t surprise me). I just found the book kind of dull and the drawings rather lackluster. Some of the other books along similar veins (like the Spot books) are much better.

This is a cute, fun story. It’s got great pictures, nice rhymes and an unexpected twist at the end. The different animals doing different things are lots of fun and Boynton came up with some creative scenes. This is really just a fun book. It doesn’t have a lot to it, but the language is such that it would be great to read to a baby too.

This is a cute lift-the-flap book with touch-and-feel elements as well. The story is a simple “where is?” story, but it has some creative things making the book less boring than it could have been (candy apples, etc.). I’m just not wild about Katz’s art. It’s so basic and babyish (and boring). This book is cute, but not one I’d recommend. Oh, and the glitter on the cover comes off on everything.

This is a really cute lift-the-flap Halloween story. It’s got a fun and rather cute story. The illustrations are really fun and it’s great to find the fun stuff hidden under the flaps (I loved the rack of mad scientist wigs). Everything is really simple but there is still a story and characters. Driscoll did a really good job with this one!
